Dodderhill School is an independent girls’ school conveniently placed on a spacious, green site on a hill overlooking Droitwich Spa. The school has excellent road (5 minutes from junction 5 of the M5) and rail links to all stations between Worcester and Birmingham; the school minibus collects from Droitwich Spa station.
Dodderhill School is the amalgamation of Dodderhill and Whitford Hall(founded 1945) Schools in 1973. The school provides continuity of education for girls from 6 weeks to 16 years for girls. Boys are welcome from 6 weeks to 7 years of age. The school was originally founded by Miss Booker to provide an academic education, whilst maintaining excellence in creative subjects.
The school is a deliberately small school providing an individual, bespoke and varied education. The classes have no more than 16 pupils and there are not more than 2 classes per year. Many classes are considerably smaller, especially at GCSE. Our GCSE results regularly place us at or near top of the GCSE table for Worcestershire.
Girls are provided with individual learning support when needed in a variety of ways.
The school is open for all pupils from 8.00am to 6.00pm. The nursery runs for 50 weeks of the year and there are holiday club for older pupils at Christmas, Easter and Summer breaks.
Dodderhill School has a Christian foundation but welcomes pupils of all faiths and none. We are proud to be an inclusive community.
