Dodderhill Girls Make The Front Page!

Our GCSE results are in for 2016 and we are delighted to announce droitwich-standard-front-page-2016-gcsesthat 100% of our girls (yes EVERYONE!) achieved at least 5 or more GCSEs at grades A*-C.

We are also thrilled that our 100% of our girls studying sciences as separate subjects were awarded either an A or A* – fantastic!

This brilliant news earned us a place on the front page of the Droitwich Standard – well done girls!

Terrific Triathlon

Dodderhill sent a squad of 23 girls to participate in the ISA Triathlon Competition.  The girls had to swim, cycle and run varying distances depending on their age.  All of our team completed their races and some finished in the top ten!  It was a superb event and all thoroughly enjoyed the day.

Outstanding Early Years Inspection

Dodderhill has received an ‘Outstanding’ rating in all categories following a recent inspection of it’s Early Years Foundation Stage.  The inspectors observed lessons, conducted informal discussions with the children and examined samples of their work.

The report praised the school’s staff, stating “all adults and teachers are well informed, enthusiastic and demonstrate a strong belief in the children’s capacity to succeed.”

Sporting Success

Congratulations to Connie, Lottie and Ellie who were part of the District Team at the County Cross Country Championships.  They had superb results finishing 6th, 9th and 10th.

Worcester Arts Festival Success

Once again Dodderhill was triumphant at the Worcester Arts Festival. Both the Junior and Senior choirs recieved honours for their performances and many of our girls won individual trophies in both music and speaking classes.  Congratulations to all our girls who took part.
