Chinese New Year Celebrations

The children of the Early Years enjoyed celebrating Chinese New Year.  They took part in a variety of activities, making lanterns and dragon masks, lion dancing and finally cooking a stir fry to eat with chopsticks. We hope all our families have a successful Year of the Dragon.

Brilliant Badminton

Well done to Alex Stephenson and Phoebe Clayton who have been selected for the Worcestershire County Badminton Squad.  This takes a commitment to the sport and we are very pleased for both of them.

ISA Regional Cross Country

Dodderhill took a strong squad to the ISA Cross Country.  All the girls did their best in very muddy conditions.  We had some excellent results with Connie Gould, Emma Bridges and Polly Ghandi being selected for the National Finals.  Congratulations to all the girls for a great effort.

Kindergarten and Reception’s Hunt for Father Christmas

The children of the Early Years went off to find Father Christmas.  They followed clues through the Christmas Tree field, had a tractor ride, stroked the reindeer and finally found Father Christmas himself.  They all reminded him what they would like for Christmas and were beautifully behaved on their first school trip.

Christmas Nativity Plays

A wonderful afternoon of entertainment was presented by the children of the Junior School.  Kindergarten and Reception performed Simply Natvity and reminded us of the true meaning of Christmas.  Years 1, 2 and 3 had the audience laughing with their pantomime Jack and the Beanstalk.  A fabulous afternoon to get us all in the Christmas Spirit.
