Hatching Chicks with Reception

The Reception children have had an exciting time caring for 8 eggs.  They looked after them carefully and held their breath as the chicks hatched.  They have had the opportunity to watch the chicks grown bigger and stronger with lots of ‘hands on’ observation.

Planting Trees

The pupils in Year 6 spent a busy morning planting 100 trees into nursery beds.  The trees were donated by the The Lions and they joined us to help with the planting.  As the trees grow we are hoping to develop a small area of woodland within our school grounds.

Worcestershire Young Photographer of the Year

Maanvi Jain in Year 6 has won the Worcestershire Young Photographer of the Year competition for the Primary age group.  Daisy Lane was one of three runners up.  Both should be very proud of their achievement as the competition attracts entries from all over the county.  Congratulations also goes to Jessica Mason in Year 11 who was shortlisted in a very competitive category.

Year 5 Visit to Harvington Hall

Year 5 spent an interesting and enjoyable day at Harvington Hall learning about ‘Tudor Life’.  They dressed up in traditional Tudor clothes, searched for priest hides and learnt about working on a Tudor estate.

Isabelle Palmer sings with Worcester Cathedral Choir

Congratulations to Isabelle Palmer on her acceptance into Worcester Cathdral Choir as a soprano.  It is a real privilege as only a few girl choristers are accepted, so it is testimony to her beautiful singing.
